Resumen

  En el proceso de atención a la salud, la confianza que pacientes, cuidadores y redes de apoyo depositan en el proveedor de salud desempeña un papel importante. Esta confianza puede perderse por la interposición de conflictos de interés (CDI), los cuales se describen como condiciones, en los que el objetivo primario del profesional (atención a la salud o integridad científica) se ve alterado por un objetivo secundario, económico o no.
