Resumen

La desnutrición es una condición frecuente en pacientes hospitalizados, por lo cual se resalta la importancia del tamizaje de riesgo nutricional al ingreso hospitalario y de realizar auditorías que valoren los determinantes de estos riesgos. El nutritionDay (nDay) es un día específico del año en el cual participan salas de hospitales a nivel mundial en una auditoría transversal que valora diferentes aspectos relacionados con el proceso del cuidado nutricional. El objetivo de este estudio fue reportar la prevalencia del riesgo de desnutrición en pacientes hospitalizados.
