Abstract

Malnutrition is a frequent condition in hospitalized patients. Therefore, the importance of nutritional
risk screening at the time of hospital admission and of carrying out audits that assess the determinants of these risks is highlighted. NutritionDay (nDay) is a specific day of the year in which hospital wards around the world participate in a cross-sectional audit that assesses different aspects related to nutritional care. The aim of this study was to report the prevalence of the risk of malnutrition in hospitalized patients.
