La perspectiva pesocentrista es criticada por presentar un enfoque reduccionista, donde el peso corporal se considera un indicador suficiente de enfermedad y desestima otros componentes que hacen a la salud y propician el desarrollo de actitudes estigmatizantes. Los tratamientos que explicitan los objetivos de peso y emplean una restricción alimentaria suelen tener una alta tasa de fracaso a largo plazo. El objetivo de la presente revisión es realizar una actualización bibliográfica de los principales estudios que utilizan una intervención basada en el enfoque salud en todas las tallas (health at every size) en adultos.
