Neuronutrição: o impacto dos excessos e deficiências nutricionais

A neuronutrição é a ciência que estuda o efeito dos nutrientes no sistema nervoso e suas funções. Investiga a relação direta entre os nutrientes e a produção de neuromoduladores, os quais desempenham um papel fundamental na regulação de muitos aspectos da atividade cerebral, como o humor, a motivação, o estresse, os comportamentos alimentares (fome e saciedade), o sono e toda a parte emocional envolvida na alimentação.
