Resumo

Um melhor conhecimento das mulheres lactantes para o desenho de estratégias que promovam o aleitamento materno exclusivo irá melhorar os índices atuais. A utilização de instrumentos de medição em conceitos como a atitude em relação à amamentação permite este propósito. O objetivo do estudo foi desenvolver e validar uma escala para medir a atitude em relação ao aleitamento materno.
