Resumen

La toxemia urémica, la inflamación y las alteraciones metabólicas de sujetos con enfermedad renal crónica en hemodiálisis favorecen la sarcopenia y fragilidad. El objetivo de este estudio es determinar la prevalencia de sarcopenia y fragilidad en sujetos sometidos a hemodiálisis en Perú.
